Mt Mercer Wind Farm comprises 64 turbines of 2.05MW capacity each, giving it a total capacity of 131.2MW. It produces around 360,000MWh of electricity per year. This is the equivalent of meeting the electricity requirements of over 70,000 average Victorian homes.

As a long-term average:
  • The wind farm avoids approximately 400,000 tonnes of CO2e emissions per annum.
  • This amount of electricity is the equivalent of taking over 118,000 cars off the road each year.
  • It also represents planting over half a million trees each year.
